"This was my first workshop with Kimberly McAlindin and it was well worth it! I came in thinking I didn't need any help and was Just there for the fun, but I learned several new techniques - techniques I've already used in other knitting projects! Specifically, learning how to resolve German Short rows, gauge swatching in the round, and a few other tips were game changers. Kimberly is patient, kind and very thorough in her teaching. "I took this workshop because I wanted to knit a sweater that actually fit. Kimberly spent a lot of time in the first class talking about gauge and how it affects the sizing of the sweater. It was very helpful and I learned a lot. She also spent a lot of time in each session showing herself knitting sections of the sweater so we would understand each section and various options on how to knit them. This allowed us to choose the option we felt the most comfortable knitting. She was patient and went over the tricky stuff several times to make sure we understood it. She was very patient and easy to understand... this was the best kind of knitting clas to take. I am well on my way to a hand knit sweater." -Amy Z. 

"Kimberly's teaching style is so easy to follow, pleasant to listen to. She's patient and breaks it down so it's easy to learn and understand for any level knitter. From gauge swatching to making something that fits to phony seams and new stitches, I definitely took a lot away from this workshop! The FB group is really helpful to refer back to and watch the zoom sessions and all the instructional videos and notes from the workshop. To me that's invaluable. I am the former Editor-in-chief of Knit 1-2-3 and Crochet 1-2-3 magazines and have worked as a pattern designer for major yarn companies, magazines and books. I've been the technical expert of a knitting magazine and currently am self publishing hand knit designs while traveling to yarns shops to teach my classes.
